The Contemporarys are a four piece live wedding and function band suitable for any occasion. We offer an absolutely unique experience by only playing modern day chart music and we don’t play any songs released before the year 2000. There is no other function band on the scene daring enough to offer such an original concept to make your event all the more special and memorable.

We can handle events and venues of any size from 50 people in a small room all the way up to 50,000 at an outdoor festival.

We have carefully chosen modern songs that are up-tempo, lively and well-known crowd pleasers. As well as high-charted pop songs you will also hear many great contemporary songs that have featured in TV programs (Gavin & Stacey – She’s So Lovely – Scouting For Girls) and TV & Radio commercials (Morrisons – Shine – Take That). So everyone will know the songs and all will be up and dancing enjoying themselves…….even Grandma and Grandpa.

Over the past two years The Contemporarys have played many Corporate Events, Parties, Sweet Sixteen Birthdays, College/University Balls and Wedding Receptions all over the UK. They have even performed abroad in Northern Europe and also for many celebrities.

All members of the band are in their early thirties and have all been performing live for a minimum of 15 years each. The band features music producers, sound engineers, TV stars and music tutors, so you can be assured that you will only receive the highest quality experienced musicians for your special occasion. The bands on stage presence helps to create a happy warm and friendly atmosphere and their interaction with the audience will keep guests on the dance floor all evening long.
